We are determined to pursue a novel strategy for the integration and miniaturization of quantum light sources and linear optical networks on a chip. Our approach explores scalability, robustness, and small footprint as key ingredients for the ultimate goals of optical quantum information processing (including computation, communication, simulation, and sensing).
